Mental Pressure

Mind is a combination of various cognitive faculties that enables consciousness, perception, thinking, judgement and memory. It holds the power of imagination, recognition and responsible for processing feelings and emotions, resulting in attitudes and actions.

Mental pressure is a kind of demand or threat. When we feel threatened, our nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action. Hearts starts to pounds faster, muscles tighten, blood pressure rises, breathe quickens and senses become sharper.

Whenever there is some pressure to work hardly we feel lazy on it. Neither we can work properly nor we can get success. During the childhood days, parents always give pressure to read, focus on study and not to play more. The children seem aggressive with their parents.

Whenever we grow older slowly we find the value of education and read our self without the pressure of anyone. It is very hard to do work under the pressure of other. Most of the boss of private company feel them superior and always give pressure to the staff. During the learning and working phase of life, person can make mistake.

But the boss threatens in such a way that, they have not make any mistake in their life. Not only in job also in schools and colleges, teachers always want to give pressure by criticizing their mistakes. Is it a good solution for the problem?

Mental pressure interferes with judgement and cause to make bad decisions. It reduces enjoyment and make us feel bad. Not only this it makes us anxious, frustrated or mad. In addition to this, unable to laugh, afraid of free time, unable to work and not willing to discuss problems with others are other problem created by mental pressure. There is some preventive measure to avoid mental pressure.

Try to express feelings instead of bottling them up. Have a will to compromise, manage your better time. We can also reframe problem and look at the big picture. In addition to this we can also go for a walk, spend time in nature, call a good friend, write a journal and take a long bath.
